Why underwater readings can differ between meters

VBR-Aqua reports the sensor's direct reading and does not apply an immersion-effect correction factor. Some meters use a different correction method, so two instruments can show different underwater numbers even when each is operating according to its own measurement method.

When comparing devices, first confirm whether each meter reports direct underwater sensor readings or applies an immersion correction. Consistent method matters more than comparing a single number in isolation.
